Methodology
Data source
Every number comes from API-MMA (API-Sports) or is calculated from that data. Coverage: UFC, from 2022. Data updates daily, and every minute on event days.
Strike counts come from the source split by head, body and legs (total and power); the source does not say whether they are landed or thrown, so we simply call them "strikes".
The source does not provide round-by-round statistics, strike attempts (so we show no strike accuracy), judges' scorecards (only final scores when available) or official rankings. We never invent them.
Bout start times are often provisional; until confirmed they are shown with "≈". All times are Tbilisi time.
Career statistics
Career figures (since 2022) use finished bouts only. "Strikes / min" and "/ 15 min" rates use cage time: full rounds before the finish (5 minutes each) plus the clock of the last round. Leaderboards for rates need at least 3 bouts.
When the source has no full career record for a fighter, we show our own count since 2022 and label it so.
Rankings
Rankings are editorial: a champion and #1–15 in every division plus pound-for-pound. Movement (▲▼) is computed against the previous saved version. Each list shows when it was updated.
Names in Georgian
Fighter names are transliterated into Georgian script by rules, checked once by an AI model, and can be corrected by the editors at any time.
Automatic articles
Data-driven automatic recaps will appear later. They will state only facts present in the data and be labelled as automatic.
Fan polls
Polls show the percentage of fan votes only — one vote per user or device. They are not forecasts.
